Private Client Fee Earner

We are seeking to appoint a Private Client Fee Earner to join our team at our Altrincham office.

The Candidate

  • Private Client fee earner with at least 3 years PQE or equivalent

  • Ability to deal with a varied caseload including wills, probate, power of attorney

RESIDENTIAL CONVEYANCER (FEE EARNER)

Due to the expansion of our Residential Conveyancing department, we are seeking to appoint a Conveyancer to work alongside our existing team.

The Candidate

  • Residential Conveyancer with at least 3 years PQE or equivalent

  • Ability to deal with a varied caseload including freehold/leasehold sales, purchase, remortgages and transfer of equity

  • Excellent time management and organisation skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative

CONVEYANCING LEGAL SECRETARY/CONVEYANCING ASSISTANT

Minimum 2 years previous conveyancing secretarial experience necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year depending on experience

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:

  • Audiotyping (digital dictation).

  • Producing letters and legal documents.

  • Providing quotations.

  • File opening.

  • Preparation of Stamp Duty Land Tax returns.

  • Applications for registration at HM Land Registry.

  • Downloading of documentation from HM Land Registry.

  • Answering telephone calls, providing updates and taking messages.

  • Updating and uploading documentation to lender portals.

  • Photocopying and scanning.

  • Diarising deadlines on Outlook/diary management.

  • Covering reception lunch cover.

  • Updating and using case management system.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Fast and accurate typing skills.

  • Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent attention to details and communication skills.

  • Excellent time-management and organisational skills.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent client care.
